We already have a large selection of high-quality Judaica. However, we are constantly expanding and enlarging our stock of Judaica.

At the moment, you are welcome to come to the library for study purposes only, by appointment with our secretary's office. However, it is no longer possible to borrow books.

17 Motives of Jewish life

17 Motifs of Jewish Life is a project of the Frankfurt University Library that approaches the diverse German-Jewish culture in the past and present in cooperation with students of Goethe University.

Based on 17 motifs - events, practices, and texts - it explores the rich historical holdings of the Frankfurt University Library's Hebraica and Judaica Collection. The collection is one of the most important of its kind in the world, and its history is closely interwoven with Frankfurt's Jewish history.
