Experience a piece of Jewish and German social history.

The exhibition

The scientific work is available as a comprehensive exhibition.

The history of the Jewish order B'nai B'rith in Frankfurt am Main, Mannheim and Nuremberg is illustrated on large-format panels with many photographs and images of original documents.

Please note: The exhibition panels are in German, an English translation is available via smartphone during the exhibition.

    Guided tours through the exhibition

    The exhibition is open daily from 28 August to 11 September from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, admission is free.

    We also offer guided tours with a lodge member for people and groups interested in history. These guided tours of the exhibition are also free of charge.

    If you are interested, simply contact our lodge secretariat on 069/7241379 (Monday to Thursday 9 am to 1 pm).

    In addition, we have been able to engage the city councillor Thomas Bäppler-Wolf for free individual group tours. The guided tours are in German. All available dates and times can be found here on his homepage at www.baeppis-events.de.

    Dr. Kathrin Massar

    Exhibition concept


    Dr. Kathrin Massar is a freelance author and curator (www.kathrinmassar.de). She deals with contemporary historical topics and varieties of biography. Her most recent book "Fast frei zu sein ist doch etwas Herrliches" ("Being almost free is something wonderful") was published about the letters of the Berlin woman Ursel Bud in French internment.

    Design and realization


    Dirk Schicke has been involved with communication and its implementation since 1985. After holding various positions at well-known companies and in different industries, he has been running his own communications agency for over 20 years (www.cleogmbh.de) with a focus on medium-sized companies and organizations.

    The scientific work, the book and the exhibition are funded by the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Homeland. We are grateful for this support.
